Setting mail server properties

If you want to use an e-mail server only for WebMail other than the server which you specified in the general options, use this setting to specify the properties of the server. This setting is common to all users. Furthermore, users can use another e-mail server for WebMail. See Setting E-mail accounts to user or Using iOfficeV4 - Setting e-mail accounts.

To set mail server properties:

1. Click General Options on the lower right of the WebMail screen.

2. Click Mail Server Settings in the menu.

You will now see the setting screen.

• Incoming Server (POP3): Specify a POP3 server name and port No.

Note:

POP3 is a protocol to receive e-mail messages and WebMail supports only POP3.

• Outgoing Server (SMTP): Specify a SMTP server name and port No.

• Server Timeout: Set how many seconds you wait for until it gives up logging on the incoming server (POP3) after repeating failure.

3. Click OK.
