Adding a new item to the inventory

Add the items of which you want to manage stock by Inventory. Fixtures, stationery, etc. can be managed.

To add a new item:

  1. Click Inventory and Receipt in the sub-window.

  2. Click Add New Item.

You will now see the item entry screen.

Type a name of the item.

Choose the group which manages this item. The item will be available to the users who belong to this group. Administrators of the group can manage items. If you are an administrator of the entire system or administrator of Inventory application, you can create the Shared Items which are available to all users and managed by such administrators only.

Type a text.

Enter initial Qty.

Specify qty. It sends a notification message when the Qty on Hand is the qty specified or less.

Notes:

This option is available if your administrator sets "Use" to Notification via E-mail of Mail server Setting. See Setting mail server properties.

The message is sent to the administrators' e-mail addresses specified by Personal Options - User Information. See Editing your personal information.
