Q: What is iOffice2000?
A: It is integrated groupware developed to enable business to be conducted in a trouble-free fashion within a company or group both within the company and outside it.
 
Q: What are the special features of iOffice2000?
A: iOffice2000 contains nine systems (schedule manager, WorkList, WebMail, message board/whereabouts, time card, equipment booking, work flow, circulars, and shared addresses). It offers an ideal design matching special preferences utilizing know-how concerning the construction of Intranet environments of many different types, enabling you to set out without taking personal equipment, make business trips without taking personal equipment, and return without taking personal equipment, without formality and without needing to take personal equipment....
 
Q: Does WebMail work with IMAP4?
A: No. To use WebMail, the mail server you are using must conform to "SMTP" and "POP3".
 
Q: Does WebMail work with "shared addresses"?
A: Yes. When mail is created using WebMail, the destination addresses (address, CC, BCC) may be selected by manual input and from the shared addresses.
 
Q: Does it use a DB?
A: It doesn't use a commercial RDBMS. It uses originally compiled files to achieve direct I/O to the disk system of the OS under which the iOffice2000 server is operating.
 
Q: Is the source code disclosed?
A: The source code is not disclosed. The various functions cannot therefore be changed by the customer. However, if required, we can provide a customizing service etc.
 

Q:

Can WebMail recognize whether mail is opened/unopened?
A: Yes. When mail is opened in Inbox/Outbox or other folder, it becomes "opened". Also, mail that has been opened can also be made "unopened".
 
Q: On log-in, the message "compilation of swap file failed." is displayed. What is the problem?
A: This may occur when the UNIX edition of iOffice2000 is installed with "tar.Z" or "tar.gz". Check the owner of the installation target directory. It may be necessary to change the user or group under which the web server is operating.
